Founded in 2011, we are a young company with fresh ideas that are backed with over a 150 years of cumulative management experience in manufacturing and exports of home décor. Sasha Srivastava, Founder, CEO
Sasha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Structured Textile from the prestigious University of Leeds, England and a Master’s degree in Applied Design from the University of Nottingham Trent. After working as a designer in the UK where her designs were shortlisted by marquee brands like Chanel, Armani and Ermenegildo Zegna to name a few. Sasha wanted to start a business to fully utilize her skills and moved to Mumbai in 2009. She spent a year trying to understand the home-textiles market and building a supply-chain. After executing a few freelance orders she had the confidence to establish a company and she started Orkide in 2011.
Dinendra Srivastava, MD
Dinendra comes with over 40 years of experience of exports and has been helping Orkide
by providing advice and guidance as when required.
Avijit K Upadhyay, Director
Avijit brings wide variety of experience from Retail, Real-Estate, Textile Manufacturing, E-commerce and Finance. At Orkide he takes care of Operations & Finance.
Kartikeya Srivastava, Director
Kartikeya heads Business Development for the Middle-East and European markets
Nalinikant Moitra
